Yongso Well-Being Park in a few words
Located in Gijang, a seemingly quiet district in Busan, Yongso Well-Being park is, in fact, one of the many places you can discover in this lesser-known part of the city.
Whether you’re looking for coastal trails, a beautiful yet more tranquil beach, fun and thrills, or peace and quiet, Gijang has it all!
And Yongso Well-Being park is just a small example of that! So if you want to get close to nature and enjoy a gorgeous park in every season, it’s this way!
Visit of the park

Who says a reservoir is only for water supply, storage, or other similar purposes? It can also be a beautiful, immense place, where one can enjoy natural beauty while getting some exercise.
Because if you’ve never walked, hiked or enjoyed outdoor activities around a reservoir, I assure you that even if it’s not the first place you’d think of for a relaxing afternoon, you’d be surprised as these places are often synonymous with serenity and untouched nature!

Yongso Well-Being park and Yongsogol Reservoir may be hidden deep in the city, but they offer lush forests, beautiful trails, rest areas ideal for a picnic, as well as a playground to delight the little ones.
Sure, the park may be small, but swinging on the swing chair in the sunshine while listening to the birds singing and watching the wind ripple the surface of the reservoir is what I personally call the perfect escape for my tired soul.

Gijang might not be on your itinerary when visiting Busan, but I hope this little glimpse of the park will inspire you to venture beyond the most popular attractions.
